Shopping With My Dad

Two weeks ago my mom went with my brother to Cub Scout Camp and so my Grandma came up and stayed with us while my dad was a work. While mom was away, two of my favorite stores were having sales. My grandma couldn't take me because she was taking care of all the other kids, so I asked my dad if he would take me.

On Saturday night, my dad and I went to Kohls. At first I thought Dad was going to be a boring shopping companion, but I always shop with my mom so I didn't want to this time. When we got in the store, we were looking around and saw some cute items, and so I started trying things on. When I was showing Dad, he would give me another thing to try on, so I ended up trying on like twenty things. Surprisingly, Dad had some pretty good taste. Granted, there were one or two things that I personally thought looked like they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every stick on the way down, but that's okay. I ended up getting 35$ worth of clothes. I bought a really cute pair of plaid shorts that are yellow and brown, a brown shirt to match the shorts, a light pink shirt, a red and white shirt, and an orange striped polo. Dad's favorite was the red and white shirt, which is cute. The shorts and brown shirt will be my first day of school outfit. Then, there was this really cute shirt/hoodie/jacket type thing that you layer. It was black with pink and white circles/bubbles. We weren't sure how much it was, so we asked the cashier how much it was, and she replied, "18$", so I said I didn't want it. Then, my dad bought it for me!

When we were leaving Kohls and driving home, we stopped by this restaurant. Now this wasn't just any old restaurant, it was a sushi restaurant. Dad has been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, so, with a great wind of courage, I tried the RAW FISH, too. It was not my favorite! We tried RAW crab, tuna, salmon, yellow tail, shrimp, and red snapper. Not my favorite...
